NATIONAL ART GALLERY NATIONAL MUSEUM AT MANILA OF THE PHILIPPINES II

Exhibits =
    
      When you enter, two sculptures by National Artist Guillermo Tolentino will greet. they are heroic monument, cast in metal, to Manuel Quezon, Former Senate the House, and Sergio Osmeno, Former Speaker of the Houses. At the lobbyof the building are two wooden relief by National Artist Napoleon Abueva assisted by renatto Rocha and Jose Mendozza. They portray Raja sulayman, His courts and the Pelisades (1967) and Lagazpi and the founding of Manila ( 1967). At the pediments of the back and front facades of the building and at the former session hall of the Philippines Senate are sculptures by Otto Fisher Credo, Walter Strauss, Vidal Tampinco, and Ramon Martinez.

       This room dedicated to the 19th century Filipino painters Juan Luna and Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo who achieved prominence at the 1884 Madrid Exposition. Luna's spoilarium received one of the three gold and Hidalgo's Virgenes Cristianas Expuetes al Papulacho (cristian virgin presented populace) received one of the forteen medals.

Colonial Philippines Religious art from the 17th to the 19th centuries, prominent among which is aretablo from the church of San Nicolas de Tolentino in Dimiao , Bohol - a national Culture Treasure - together with a selection of carved religious image (santos)

         In 1821, these fourteen paintings were collectively declared as a National Culture Treasure. they depict in naive and vivid style the famous 1807 uprising in Locos against rule that would improve tariff and restrictions on their famous sugarcane based wine

Its featuring the museum considerable holding of the work of Juan Luna and key contemporaries. Its highlights include works by Lorenzo Guerrero, Gaston o'forrell, and many more. Features are also nearly 100 works by Luna that formed part of historic donations of Graced Luna San Pedro Collection by the far east banked Trust Company in the early 1990s
Gallery IV ( Fundacion Santiago Hall ) 


Continuing the theme and late 19th century period of the previous gallery that works by Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo are featured together with sculptures Isabelo Tampinco gift from Ernesto and Aracell Salas.

Gallery V  

This galley works by the Polymath and National Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal. it is including four original sculptures and one fine drawing form his 1886 in Berlin.


 Gallery VI ( Foundation of the Philippines Hall ) 


The works of the great modernists of Philippines art and featuring important works by Victorio Edades, Diosdado Lorenzo and many more.
A gallery dedicated to the progress of the medicine in Philippines. In a four set paintings by Carlos V. Francisco. These extraordinary works were placed on indefinite loan to the national museum by the University of the Philippines to secure their preservation for future generations.

The Maritime Experiential Museum and Aquarium

Entrance of Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium


The Maritime Experiential Museum is located in Resorts World Sentosa on the other side of the Bull Ring from Universal Studios Singapore. The museum sits on the water's edge and is shaped like an overturned hull of a ship. The museum is first and only museum that shows people the history about maritime heritage of Asia. At the museum have around 400 amazing objects. The Maritime Experiential Museum is inspired by Admiral Zheng. People will have opportunity to visit the eight ports of call at The Souk where visitors will be fascinated by the sight, smell and sounds of the people and cultures and the interesting stories about these ports along the maritime trade routes.

Omani Dhow (Jewel of Muscat)

The main product of the Maritime Experiential Museum is the Omani Dhow (Jewel of Muscat). This is a gift from the government of Oman to the people of Singapore is a reconstruction of a 9th century Arab dhow built using traditional materials and construction techniques. Following ancient maritime routes, the Jewel of Muscat sailed from Oman to Singapore in 2010 without any modern navigational equipment and completed the journey in five months. 



Typhoon Theatre


Other attraction is Typoon Theatre. It has 150 seats and 360-degree theater that takes visitors on a perilous voyage on board a 9th-century Chinese junk.

Vietnamese Women's Museum


Vietnamese Women's Museum is located at Thuong Kiet, Hoan  Kiem, Ha Noi. This Museum is fascinating look at the strength and sacrifices of Vietnamese women. This Museum containing about 1000 artifacts. 

This Museum present three galleries with three themes which are Women In Family, Women In History, and Women's Fashion. The objective of this Museum is to shows to the visitors about the Vietnamese Women cultural and their role in community.

Here, visitors can learned the traditional cultural, women life, marriage customs, childbirth, women's clothing, and family life. Besides that, this Museum also has a store and a cafe where visitors can purchase traditional handicraft and traditional Vietnamese food.

NATIONAL ART GALLERY NATIONAL MUSEUM AT MANILA OF THE PHILIPPINES

About The Building =

             The building was originally designed as the public library by Ralph Harrington Doane, the American consulting  architect of the bureau of the public works and his assistant Antonio Toledo. the construction began in 1918 but was suspended several times because of lacks of funds. when it was decided that the building should be used by Legislature, the revision of the plans was entrusted to Juan Arellano, then supervising architect of the bureau. the building inaugurated on 16 July 1926 and by then had cost four million pesos

The building was part of Danial Burnham's plan for the development of Manila. Upon its collections, the second, the third and the fourth floor were occupied by the Senate and House of Representatives while the ground floor was occupied by the National Library.

The 1934 Constitutional Conventional was held in this building. on its front steps Manuel L. Quezon was sworn in as President of the Commonwealth. The Legislative Building was a casualty during the bombing and shelling of Manila in 1945. It was reconstructed in 1946 following the original plans with some revision such as the the replacement of flat pilasters of the stately rounded engaged columns. In mid-1996, the senate of the Philippines moved out of the building. In 2003, renovation started to transform it into National Art Gallery of the National Museum.

National Museum of Cambodia

The National Museum of Cambodia

National Museum of Cambodia was inaugurated by King Sisowath and the French Resident Francois Baudoin on 13 April 1920. The French archaeologist George Groslier designed the museum building with red bricks. The museum comprises four pavilions, facing the pretty garden.


Gallery

The museum houses one of the world’s greatest collections with over 14,000 items of Khmer cultural artifacts including sculpture and ceramics from the prehistoric, pre-Angkorian, Angkorian and post-Angkorian periods. The Museum promotes awareness, understanding and appreciation of Cambodia‘s heritage through the presentation, conservation, interpretation and acquisition of Cambodian cultural material. It aims to educate and inspire its visitors. At the museum, they provide French and English spoken guides for their visitors and they also have an opportunity to purchase books or pamplets.

National Museum Myanmar of Myanmar

Located in Dagon, Yangon, the National Museum of Myanmar was founded in 1952 in order to conserve the values of art, history and culture in Myanmar. The museum has an abundant collection of ancient artworksartifactsornamentsinscriptions and historic memorabilia, which related to the history, culture and civilization of Burmese people. It was first opened in 1952 and located at the Jubilee Hall Building on Shwedagon Pagoda Road, Yangon. And then, in 1996, the museum was enlarged and moved to Pansodan Street. There are four halls on the first floor of this museum. The first hall displays the royal regalia, the second hall contains many exhibits of historic significance, the third hall shows us the pre-historic times of Myanmar, and the fourth hall contains exhibits on natural history.
There are also many other halls, which show us the Buddha's stories and the wonderful ornamented objects that played a significant role in important royal ceremonies of ancient kings throughout Myanmar history.

MINT Museum of Toys at Singapore

MINT Museum of toys


MINT (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys) Museum of Toys is the world's first purpose-built museum for toys and opened its door to the public in May 2006. It was officially launched by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr George Yeo, on 5 March 2007. This museum is belonging to Singapore citizen,  Mr Chang Yang Fa. It have many collection of toys which is more than 50,000 pieces of vintage toys from more than 40 countries including Singapore, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, the United States and other else.

The goal of the museum is to attract people to come at the museum especially children and also visitors will memorize all the memory during childhood. Every toys is very classic and unique because it is represents us a different story, culture and have their own history. The toys are placing followed by their character. A collection of toys are very protected because it will displayed behind glass on back lighted glass and any photography are not allowed.

The museum have variety of events like exhibitions, promotions and activities for occasions such as the Lunar New Year, Easter, the Singapore Formula 1 Night Race, Children’s Day and Christmas.
